Managing Pain Points In The Workplace
Dealing with business pain points is commonplace in most modern work environments. All thanks to several contributing factors, each playing their own part.
New, growing and, established businesses alike all depend upon technological advancements to improve their customers’ and employees’ experiences. All with the aim of driving overall business results.
Business owners and leaders are required to ensure that their companies remain up-to-date with new advancements and technologies at all times. Improvements in efficiencies, processes, and practices are all required to maintain a positive culture, morale, and mindset no matter what type of business you are in.
The rate of change
At the rate that technology is expanding, though, so too are user frustrations in most modern working environments. This equates to employees constantly having to adapt to the changes brought about by advancements in business infrastructure and technology.
Keeping up with the times is one thing, but in doing so business owners and managers must also try to manage and eliminate the pain points that often arise as they navigate their companies into new business territories.
We have walked these roads many times before. For 35 years we have assisted and guided our clients in providing solutions that have helped them manage their own business pain points. From advanced Connectivity and Telco solutions to Security and Green Energy amongst others, Daisy understands these struggles better than most and this is why we partner with our customers to eradicate their own personal business pain points.
Is it time to Going green?
Technological challenges are one thing; however, throughout years past, other significant changes from ways of old have been experienced too. How we conduct our day-to-day work activities are now in line with worldwide efforts to “Go Green”. We’ve moved away from print-intensive environments toward more planetary-friendly solutions.
As a result, digitally dominated methods, processes, and practices are more common. With a bit of help from the odd pandemic in more recent times, this movement has enabled employees to work from home, become more mobile, communicate primarily by telephone, and increasingly interact via digital mediums. In this new world, face-to-face communication is no longer a daily occurrence. Every person’s mobile device is their lifeline, office, and direct connection to the world. It is thus a given that reliable connectivity and telecommunication are a necessity in today’s world. Yet, still, we grapple with intermittent service and unreliable internet connections.
Are consistent power interruptions causing you pain?
Power interruptions are tough on everyone and have, to name only a few, a profoundly negative impact on internet connectivity, tech adoption, telecommunications, productivity, and business growth. As if operations and communications being brought to a stand-still aren’t enough, we are often left vulnerable. With lines down, lights off, and vulnerabilities exposed, security and contingencies become a massive consideration that is as important now, if not even more, than they were before. It then becomes a given that alternate power and energy solutions are an absolute necessity for any business.
Is your IT infrastructure geared for change?
It’s a lot to take in and a lot to contemplate. The mere thought of where to begin has been known to result in the breakout of cold sweats. The need for a professional IT infrastructure has also become a chart-topper for all modern businesses. Having the right tools to perform our daily tasks is critical and can often become a pain point if not taken seriously. AI is modernising our working environments and so are software programs that can help us automate our workflow process. The pain point here is what effect will this have on our predominantly human workforces?
