Daisy Cares Empowers Girls at Windmill Park Secondary School
The Daisy Cares team recently visited Windmill Park Secondary School in Boksburg as part of a Palesa Pads school activation focused on dignity, confidence and keeping girls in class.
With the support of Daisy colleagues and sponsors, learners received Essential Flo Kits containing reusable sanitary pads and a simple cleaning kit. These kits are designed to last for years when properly cared for, helping families save money and reducing waste compared to disposable pads.
For many girls, reliable access to menstrual products means they can stay in school, participate fully in class and focus on their goals instead of worrying about missing days every month.
This initiative forms part of Daisy’s broader commitment to support education, uplift communities and back practical solutions that make a real difference in young people’s lives.
Thank you to every Daisy colleague and sponsor who contributed. Your support is helping to keep girls in school and giving them the confidence and dignity they deserve.
